You have GOT to be kidding me. I knew Jerry was going to do something stupid like this...he should've fired himself and the head coach. You fire the running backs coach, who has absolutely NOTHING to do with the calls that your beloved head coach calls. And to top it off, you fire one of the bright spots on your coaching staff that worked miracles with the personnel he had. Jerry, you sir are an IDIOT!! My goodness it's gonna be hard to stay a fan...

Rob Ryan won't be unemployed for long.

And he knows it. In fact, he might be relieved to be leaving...I just hope he doesn't end up on the eagle's staff!

Would be neat to see him prowl the sidelines with his brother, Rex, on the Jets' staff. :)

I'd like to see what he is capable of with healthy starters. From what I've read the 'Boys defense was decimated pretty much all year long. They had something like a total of 7 interceptions all freaking year long! Romo probably wishes he played against the Cowboys D every game!

They fired the running backs coach also. Like it was his fault DeMarco Murray was injured half the season. They are the idiots that traded Tashard Choice so the only other half decent RB they had was Felix Jones.

Rex was the sacrificial lamb.

Just read a rumor today that Dallas might be returning to the 4-3 defense.

They will need a whole bunch of different players if they go to the 4 - 3.

Ryan's over rated and so is his brother.

I agree his brother is. Seems more full of hot air than coaching skills.
But wherever Rex was defensive coach the team had a good defense - even before he came to Dallas. Cleveland is a crappy team, but their defense was good. If they could ever figure out how to score a TD they might be dangerous.

And here it is, the Cowboys hired Monte Kiffin as their new Defensive Coordinator...a 4-3 specialist:

Yep, and also an architect of the Tampa-2 defensive scheme. Probably a good hire. But what do you do with all those linebackers? Will Ware be so effective a pass rusher? Can Ratliff play DT instead of NT?
Stay tuned. Will surely be entertaining starting next Sept.
