According to multiple reports, three-year veteran Cowboys NT Josh Brent was arrested early this morning for "intoxication manslaughter" after an accident that killed practice squad teammate Jerry Brown, who was Brent's teammate at Illinois in college.

Dallasnews.com is reporting that Brent failed a sobriety test, subsequently had his blood tested and was booked for a felony. Police say he was traveling at a high speed on a freeway access road, hit a curb and flipped.
Brown is listed on the team roster as a linebacker on the practice squad.
