From FanNation Sports:

"Jerry Jones has no interest in stepping down as The Man in Dallas. So a Georgia man decided to see if the President of the United States could do something about it. In the petitions section of the White House website, one was created for President Barack Obama to have Jones removed from his control of the Cowboys (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/6). It reads: "We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/6) fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch's immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress."

I just posted this on Facebook...I wish it would be that easy to get rid of him but hey, it's his money and we're the dummies that keep buying the tickets and merchandise that supports his habit...

As much as I dislike Mr. Jones, he is the OWNER of that team and as such he can damn well do what he likes. The only way the fans can affect him is by ceasing to being and acting as fans of HIS team. If I were on the Dallas city council, I would remove his right to use "Dallas" as his team moniker. Neither HIS team, nor the fans of HIS team care a fig for Dallas. The only "friend" they have is Arlington and even that is only a financial arrangement rather than true friendship.
