FWIW, I thought the previous 3 point shot wasn't a 3 point shot.
I thought that no part of the foot could touch the line for it to be a 3 pointer. His left foot looked to be on the line - at least from the angle of the camera.
That being said - yes, it was quite an ending. Almost a shame that the timeout was so long, took some of the excitement away.
