The first woman to ____, the first woman to ____, what a joke. Next we'll hear that shes the first woman to #### in a men's portapotty. Give me a break!

I find it interesting that women first entered auto racing at the fringes. Shirley Muldowney started her career in a field of racing where not many men seem to go AND did it almost 30 years ago. That there aren't more women in racing today...

When they find out she can driver better than the Greatest Dreiver in NASCAR history they may give her his car. Just dreamin'.

Gee...NO mention of female racers from other countries who've done well behind the wheel, like rally drivers Pat Moss (sister of Stirling Moss, himself a driver of note!) and Michele Mouton.
