I added the "Saddened BY" button and am wondering if I should set it to only allow the Saddened by this post" or the "lol@this post" to be clicked. I can set it to click one or the other or allow both.

What do you think?

Both. Sometimes I laugh at things that make me sad. That's human.

That's so sad that it's funny!

Exactly my point. Besides...when have we started saying people can't contradict themselves around here? Haha.

When did we ever say that? It was something that I was thinking about and wanted to ask for opinions.

Especially since this came up in the "Pay Cut" thread. Sort of like, I am sad that you took a pay cut, but am laughing because I got the money.

Not thinking it would be used that way.

Just explaining what I was thinking when I created the button.

I removed the exclusivity an hour ago by the way.

Ok.
I sometimes think people tend to be sad and laugh together. For example: it's sad when someone thinks their religion is the only real one and yet funny when they try to defend that. See? ;)

It really doesn't matter to me, and I can't vote or see a poll on my phone. Stupid laptop still wont work. :(

Whew...it is working for my 5 minute window tonight!

There...I clicked four buttons for that one! It is sad that she keeps putting her foot in her mouth...it is also funny! Thank you for understanding that, and I like that you said it.

See? Four buttons!

And that convinced me that we will have to have some exclusivity with the buttons. That takes up too much space at the bottom of the posts.

Clicking on four buttons creates too much space at the bottom of the posts.

You'll have to either be sad or laughing. You can always unsad or un-laugh. Waaahaaahaaa

You just hate that I'm right. It's ok. My feelings aren't hurt. ;)

Do you have to pay extra per square inch? If not, WHY does it matter??

Glad this poll helped make your decision! Well done boss! ;)

I'm pretty sure that I stated the reason.

Scrolling through too much space at the button is much better than scrolling through extremely long posts!

Yup...you don't like the space. Reason noted.

I'm nobody's boss. Sometimes, things have to be decided based on how it looks.

If I get the chance to edit the postbit template someday, maybe I can make it work.

So sad I could laugh.
Oh wait, no I can't.
But I like it!
Thanks!

You'll have to take that up with the people who make the extremely long posts.

Now that the "Dislikes" button is gone, there is room to laugh AND cry.
