Two perennial also rans - the Cleveland Indians and Colorado Rockies are both 12-4.
The season is not yet 10% gone, so these two teams will probably do their usual nosedive to the bottom. Or will they?
Can't speak much about the Rockies, but the Indians have good pitching so far this year. Losing C.C. Sabbathia and Cliff Lee two straight years would wreck any pitching staff, but they have rebuilt with good young arms. Grady Sizemore, who was out virtually all last season, has returned and is batting over .500.
We'll see where it all plays out.

The Rangers are coming back down to earth too although they are still up in their division but only by 2.5 games. Hopefully they can put together a few runs & get some distance.

Knock on a block of Lake Erie ice, It's May and the tribe has the best record in baseball. Usually, they are dwelling the cellar by now!!! :tribe

No longer the best record in baseball, they were up 7.5 games, went into a slump, have been dealing with injuries, but still lead the division by two games. First place in July and beat the Yukkies twice this week.

Did you see last night's highlights? Down 4-0 to Toronto in the ninth, they won it 5-4 on a walk off grand slam by Hafner. Sweetness! :tribe

Yep, was unbelievable. Hopefully they can win 2 or 3 until the All-Star break on Sunday.
Some good, young talent mixed with good veterans. If Hafner had been healthy all year they'd still be up by 5 or 6 games. The pitching has been pretty good. If they could get Carmona straightened out they'd walk away with it.
