I remember reading 'A Man without a Country' when I was a kid. An American Officer was passed from ship to ship and never touched American soil after he was banished. It is a short story and really a good read.

well, Swimmer, i don't think it's the only way......not even close.....but I do think it's the only way under the laws currently in force in this Nation. Personally, I prefer, above all others, Banishment........mac

I am pro life and support the death penalty. I am conflicted but the difference in my mind is the killing of a child that has done nothing wrong, has not broken any law but is put to death at the whim of a woman. I am pro death penalty because a...

I grudgingly am opposed to the death penalty. Not because it is undeserved in most cases, but I see a gross conflict of interest when someone claims to be pro life, and then pro death penalty. Reminded me of the guy I saw in Viet Nam who was drawing...

As Joseph de Maistre once said, a nation gets the government it deserves. When people are too lazy to inform themselves of the issues and the people running for office, we will always end up, with rascals, idiots, ruffians and crooks, and a few...
